EPD investigating two shootings, one victim has life-threatening injuries

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville Police say a man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A shots fired call came in around 8:40 p.m. at Woodland Park Apartments.

Police say a man was shot and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man’s name has not been released at this time.

EPD is investigating another shooting where a juvenile went to a hospital with a leg wound. That victim is expected to survive. It happened at Vann Park Apartments.

One person was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

There’s no information about a suspect at this time.

Police say the first shooting involved a juvenile who went to a hospital with a leg wound. That victim is expected to survive. It happened at Vann Park Apartments.

There’s a suspect in custody in connection to the second shooting.

Police have not released the name of the victims.

There’s no information about a suspect in either shooting at this time.
