EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The person arrested in connection with Tuesday’s shooting near Weinbach and Conlin in Evansville is not believed to be the shooter, police said.
Just after 9 p.m., police said they found an innocent bystander at the scene with a wound in her leg.
Detectives said she was sitting in her car when someone fired a shot that hit her.
Officers arrested a juvenile a short time later and charged him with possession of a firearm.
They believe he was with the shooter, but the shooter remains at-large.
