Update:

Evansville Police say an argument between two men ended with one shooting the other.

Officers say the victim was shot in the upper left chest. The victim was taken to St. Vincent with non-life-threatening injuries.

A person of interest has been taken in for questioning.

Update:

The Evansville Police Department reports one person was shot at Eden Place Apartments and is undergoing medical treatment. That person’s condition has not been released at this time.

Police have a person of interested detained.

Evansville, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville Police are on the scene of a reported shots fired at an apartment complex on the east side of the city.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Eden Court just before 7 p.m.

Police currently have a perimeter set up with several evidence markers at the apartment complex.

At least one person has been detained.
