EPD: Two suspected of stealing purses, credit cards

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville police are investigating two separate credit card theft cases, where they believe two people are working together to steal purses and use stolen credit cards.

Police said the two suspects targeted a 91-year-old victim at a local restaurant in one instance.

According to police, one suspect distracts the victim while the other steals the purse.

This same scenario has occurred at a local retail store, according to police.

Both incidents happened on the east side of Evansville, police said.

One of the suspects was captured on surveillance cameras, authorities said.

Police describe her as wearing a black and white striped dress.
