Evansville church makes homemade signs for entire congregation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — An Evansville community church says they have found a way to make sure members are loved during the pandemic.

Pastor David Whitmore, his wife Rachel and a team of volunteers at Catalyst Church surprised everyone in their congregation with homemade signs letting them know they are cared for.

They say they made over 200 signs for members who attend their church across the Tri-State.

“Everybody said that they really enjoyed to feel loved because they are missed and to know they are prayed for is a benefit,” Pastor David said.

Volunteers spent roughly 12 hours putting the signs up.
