Evansville City Council proposes amendment to bicycle ordinances

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – The Evansville City Council proposed an amendment to the city’s current bicycle ordinances which would no longer require registration.

City Council President Ron Beane said a good amount of cyclists don’t have their bikes registered and that it is unnecessary.

The council will vote on the proposal at their next meeting on November 22.
