EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) One Evansville city councilman is expressing his happiness that the state’s shelter at home order could be nearing an end.
Evansville’s fifth ward representative Justin Elper’s Facebook post has been shared more than nine thousand times.
He says that whether the end date is April 20 or postponed later, things are looking up for the Hoosier state.
“With all the numbers looking positive, I think if he says another week will make things even better and then slowly open up then it is what it is. We’re in uncharted territory and safety is the upmost concern of all our citizens.”
Governor Holcomb says he is currently eyeing May as an end date for the order, but no set day has been selected.
