EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville city officials plan to announce a project for the old Buehler’s IGA on North Main Street.

The store closed its doors in December 2017.

Since then, it’s left a food desert for the Jacobsville neighborhood.

The City of Evansville has worked with the neighborhood to revitalize the area for the last eight years.

We’ll have coverage of Wednesday’s announcement and bring you details both on air and online.

The announcement will explain a project that will re-purpose the old Buehler’s IGA lot.
