Justin DeClue, accused in a fatal crash nearly two years ago, is expected to be sentenced today.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — An Evansville man accused in a fatal crash nearly two years ago is expected to be sentenced on Monday.

In July of 2017, authorities say Justin DeClue was driving drunk along Darmstadt Road, when his vehicle crashed head-on into another vehicle driven by Christine Long of Newburgh, killing her.

Police say DeClue’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit at the time.

DeClue entered into a plea agreement in June.

Since then, his sentencing has been delayed twice.

DeClue is now set to be sentenced at 10 on Monday morning.
