Evansville museums closing amid COVID-19 concerns

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Multiple museums in Evansville are closing temporarily due to coronavirus concerns.

The Louis J. Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville announced Friday it’s closing effective March 14-31. The closure includes all cMoe programs, multi-venue spring break camp “Destination Discovery,” field trips, birthday parties, and facility rentals.

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is also closing to the public from March 14th through March 31st. All special events and programs, including school and group tours, are postponed until the end of March.

Right now, there are not any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our Tri-State area.
