Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra concerts postponed

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra has postponed concerts scheduled for April 2020.

The “The Envelope Please” Pops concert on April 4 and 5, and Maestro Alfred Savia’s Farewell concert, Puccini’s Turandot concert on April 25, will be rescheduled. The new dates have not been announced.

The orchestra says those who have tickets can either hold onto them for the rescheduled date, exchange them for a 2020-2021 season gift certificate or donate the price of the ticket(s) back to EPO.

If you have questions or concerns, call the EPO office at 812-425-5050.

The orchestra cited CDC guidance on coronavirus and Governor Eric Holcomb’s executive orders released Monday as reasons for the postponement.
