EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra has a new executive director.

Kimberly Bredemeier has been appointed the Executive Director.

Bredemeier has been Acting Executive Director since last December. Before that she was Director of Operations for the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra for 15 seasons.

During the board’s search for a new executive director, the board president said Bredemeier presented the ideal profile, given her education as well as her extensive experience with the EPO.

Bredemeier received her Bachelor of Science in Music Management from UE, with percussion major and piano and classical guitar minor. She’s also a former Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra member.

The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra opens its 2019-2020 season with a Classics concert on Sept. 28th at the Victory Theatre at 7 p.m.
