Evansville Regional Airport is adding on to accommodate more passengers.

The airport is announcing on Facebook it’s looking at building a new jet bridge.

Evansville Regional Airport built four bridges back in 2012 to the tune of $2.4 million.

Airport officials say design plans are underway and the project will be out for bids in November.

The hope is to have the new bridge operational by next summer.
