Morton Solar announced it’s the first certified “B” corporation in southern Indiana.
To get certified, applicants must provide documents supporting their compliance with performance requirements.
Morton Solar President Brad Morton says it received its certification for its work to improve the environment.
“Everything that we’ve done revolves around creating a better place, environment, creating better air quality, and helping mitigate climate change.”
Motar Solar is one of the oldest solar contractors in Indiana.
It was recently accepted into Amicus Solar Cooperative, an elite group of the top 50 solar companies in the nation.
