Evansville to receive $1.6M through the Community Development Block program


INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT) The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated more than $3 billion through its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs to help low-income families and the most vulnerable citizens across the United States.

Evansville receives stimulus to help prevent homelessness

Evansville is slated to receive approximately $1.6 million in supplemental CARES Act funding through the CDBG program as well as $790,000 through the ESG. There will be an additional $32.5 million in non-urban funds that will be allocated throughout Indiana.
