Evansville water program continues to help customers pay for emergency repairs

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — An Evansville Water and Sewer Utility program continues to help customers pay for emergency repairs.

This month marks the second year of an agreement between the utility and home-serve to offer low-cost repair service plans.,

Since June 2017, more than $100,000 in utility bill assistance has been provided to customers.

The utility receives 10% of all home-serve policies, which funds a water bill assistance program, administered by the Community Action Program of Evansville.
