Two lanes back open on Walnut after water main cave-in

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT)- Two lanes on Walnut Street were back open Friday morning.

Evansville Water and Sewer Utility officials closed all eastbound and westbound lanes between Garvin and Heidelbach due to a water main cave-in.

A detour has been set up. If you’re going westbound on Walnut, at Garvin go north to Sycamore, west to Heidelbach, south to Walnut. If you’re headed eastbound on Walnut, at Heidelbach go north to Sycamore, east to Garvin.
