Evansville woman arrested in Kentucky for meth possession

Local News

(WEHT)- Police in Henderson, Ky. say they arrested Alyssa Hart early Saturday morning after a wallet with her license in it also contained a substance believed to be meth.

Authorities say Ellis Park security staff located the wallet and brought it to the Henderson police officers working there, who then field-tested the substance.

Officers located Hart, who they say appeared to be looking for her wallet. Hart reportedly told the officers that the wallet was not hers but she had put her license in there.

Hart had an existing warrant in Vanderburgh County, Indiana and was arrested. During a search of her purse, officers say they found more of a substance believed to be meth and syringes.
