EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – An Evansville woman charged in a weekend murder will have her first day in court Wednesday.

And while she waits, police are still investigating another incident at her house.

EPD says someone shot several times into Tanika Stewart’s home on South Linwood Avenue.

The gunshots came on the same day she was arrested for the shooting death of Antonio Bushrod Jr.

Police believe the shooting happened at a party at this home on Morton Avenue early Saturday morning.

Investigators say Bushrod and others were asked to leave and congregated outside.

Police found Bushrod on the porch with a gunshot wound to the chest.
