Evansville woman charged with aiding in a murder makes plea deal

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – An Evansville woman originally charged with aiding in a murder agrees to plead guilty to a lesser crime.

Ebonee Gross pleaded guilty to reckless homicide in connection with the death of Mark Lynn.

In return, she received one year in jail and one year on probation.

Lynn was found stabbed to death inside a home on East Louisiana Street in April.

A second person involved in the case – Rayven Crook – previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to six years in prison.
