Evansville woman opens food truck, gives away free food

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A local woman is giving back to the community during the coronavirus crisis.

Bobette Riales opened up a food truck in Evansville called Queen B’s Cuisine. She has decided since the pandemic has caused a financial struggle for many to give away free food to the community at Grace Point Church in Evansville.

“Anyone is welcome. We started out doing this for kids and just came out to families, everyone. That’s what we are here for,” Riales said.

The North Side Business Association donated a portion of the food being given away.

Queen B’s Cuisine has been doing this for several weeks and will continue to every Wednesday.
