EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — More than 40 people are looking to become a new Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) bus driver.
The school corporation is adding full-time, part-time, and substitute drivers.
The EVSC has more than 230 buses running 300 routes.
Scheduling is flexible.
You don’t need prior experience as a bus driver.
The EVSC will pay for your training and license.
The EVSC is still negotiating with 60 contract bus drivers for a new contract.
School leaders said those talks will likely last through the summer.
