Executive Director of Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau resigns

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The executive director of the Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau has resigned.

Our media partner, the Courier & Press, says Joe Taylor has resigned for “personal reasons”.

His resignation was accepted, effective September 27th.

In 2018, Taylor came to Evansville from Davenport, Iowa, where he was director of the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau since 1998.

The Visitor’s Board will have to find Taylor’s successor.
