Fall Festival booth sets sales record

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – It’s a little warmer at the Fall Festival Thursday, but the amazing weather we’ve been asking for has helped one booth set an all-time sales record since it joined the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival in the early 1990s.

A volunteer with the Vanderburgh Humane Society said a lot of people have been wanting their lemon shakeups during the mild afternoon heat and sun.

However, by the time the evening arrives, things cool down and visitors want to warm up with deep-fried foods instead.

The booth even has a Deaconess healthy option to cool down with: sliced apples with caramel dip.
