Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights will be running for 10 more days, but the annual drive-through light show says attendance is trailing this year.
The show benefits Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. So far, 7,028 vehicles have toured this year’s display which opened in Garvin Park on Thanksgiving night.
That’s 1,688 fewer vehicles than last year at the same time – putting the benefit $7,500 behind last year at the same time.
Last year’s total was 12,352 vehicles and $156,940 in net proceeds.
To try to meet last year’s donation total, extended holiday hours are being provided.
Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights will open nightly 5-9 p.m. through Sunday, January 1. However, on December 23, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, December 30, and New Year’s Eve, the light show will be open an extra hour.
For vehicles up to six people, admission is $7 per car. Admission for vehicles with 7-14 people is $10. Admission for vehicles with 15 or more people is $25.
Horse-drawn carriage rides are also available nightly from Horseshoe Bend Carriage Co. for $30 for up to six people.
The rides are on a first-come, first-served basis. The boarding area is in the Bosse Field parking lot.
