EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident that happened Tuesday night. Police say Matthew Elliott Kroeger, 22, had collided with another vehicle on Lynch Road near the T.J. Maxx Distribution Center around 5 p.m.
Another motorist was trying to turn left onto Maxx Road when the two vehicles collided at the intersection. Multiple callers reported a motorcyclist down and unresponsive on eastbound Lynch Road. First responders tried to save Kroeger’s life but were unable to save him. The other driver involved in the crash was on scene and complained of pain. Lynch Road was closed for several hours as authorities investigated the scene.
