HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WEHT) – Henderson Police Department (HPD) says the driver of the motorcycle, Charles B. Harris III, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
HPD says on July 15 at 7:58 a.m. it responded to the intersection of Hwy 425 and Old Corydon Road in reference to a Collison between a van and a motorcycle. Police say the motorcycle was headed west on Hwy 425 and the van was headed north on Old Corydon Road. HPD says the passenger of the motorcycle, Patricia Harris, was transported to a hospital in Evansville for her injuries.
Police say the driver of the van fled the scene on foot. HPD, in partnership with the EMA, Henderson County Sheriff Office, Henderson Fire Department, and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff Office from Evansville, tried to find the suspect.

Old Corydon-Henderson Road is shut down due to a wreck involving a truck and a motorcycle.
A medical helicopter has been called, and the motorcyclist has died. The status of the truck driver has not been released at this time.
