EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Feed Evansville, a task force organized by Alex Burton, Candace Chapman, Lisa Vaughn and Tanisha Carothers, spent time Wednesday handing out food those that need it.
“Obviously there are families that are experiencing unemployment, there are families that were already struggling financially, and being out of school the children are suffering what we call a food gap, or a food shortage, and so we’re doing our part to make sure that these families are being fed during this time,” task force member Tanisha Carothers said.
