Local News

BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- Visitors at Scales Lake in Warrick County will have to pay a little more in fees this year.

The Warrick County Council approved fee increases to finance improvements for Scales Lake’s cabins, RV park, and beach areas. The fees vary from a two dollar increase on camping while pavilion rental can be $120 more expensive.

Warrick County Parks Board President, Daniel Roach said the improvements are necessary to keep up with other campgrounds in the area. Roach also says this is the first major improvement project at Scales Lake since 1988.
