Fire fighters: Don’t be alarmed by green water

NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) – Fire fighters with the Newburgh Volunteer Fire Department are telling people not to be alarmed if they see green water flowing in their neighborhoods.

The fire department says they got a call about the green water flowing through neighborhood streams.

They say it turns out to be green dye used by the sewer department to find leaks.

If you see the green water, call the sewer department.
