HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Firefighters continue to warn residents in the Tri-State of extremely dry conditions.

Princeton Area Firefighters Union Local 1634 said they responded to a brush fire that got out of control on Sunday evening. The fire spread into the woods.

Firefighters said low humidity and dry conditions can lead to rapid fire growth and it can spread quickly. Officials said never leave an open fire unattended.
