GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office said 5 people were arrested after a battery investigation.
Deputies said they went to an apartment in the 100 block of S. Spring Street in Princeton Friday to investigate a battery that happened at a local restaurant at a prior date.
Deputies said they could smell marijuana, set up a perimeter around the apartment and requested back up.
We’re told 23-year-old Dawnqua Shemwell of Princeton was located and had an outstanding warrant for a Battery with Serious Bodily Injury. He was taken into custody.
After a search of the apartment, four other people were arrested.
- Isiah Brown, 29, of Princeton: Dealing in Marijuana over 30 grams and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
- Antony Davis, 28, of Princeton: Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, Dealing in Marijuana over 30 grams, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
- Sereniti Osborne, 22, of Princeton: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of a Scheduled Controlled Substance, Maintaning a Common Nuisance, and Assisting a Criminal.
- Emily Pruitt-Joy, 19, of Chandler, Indiana: Visiting a Common Nuisance.
