Folks dress up like a cow for free food

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – July 9th is Cow Appreciation Day and for some that means free food.

An Evansville Chick-fil-A and a local dairy farm got together to celebrate cow appreciation day and teach some kids about dairy farming.

People came out in herds dressed like cows all for the love of cows and a free entrée as Chick-fil-A gave free food to anyone dressed up like a cow.

Kids were all smiles as they got to pet “Elsa” and “Anna”, two little baby calves, brought in from Obert Legacy Dairy to the event at Chick-fil-A.

Eyewitness News’s, Kelly Austin was on the scene to see what the big moo was all about.
