BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Several churches in Boonville have worked to place food pantry boxes at multiple locations around the community.

Hemenway Presbyterian Church said it’s sponsoring a box located in front of the former TF2 building, right next to Richards Pool.

Main Street United Methodist Church came up with the idea for the boxes and the high school industrial arts classes built them, according to a Facebook post by Hemenway Presbyterian Church.

There are three locations in total, including one at City Lake Sponsored by St. John’s United Church of Christ and another on Fifth St. next to Main Street United Methodist Church.
