EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — While most families drive to get take out, one neighborhood association brought food to them.
The Indian Lakes Neighborhood Association invited Miller’s BBQ food truck to their community Tuesday night. The event gave neighbors a chance to enjoy some food and enjoy each other’s company while social distancing.
“You know, a lot of people are stuck at home right now, not much to do. It’s a great way to support a company like Millers Barbeque here and get everybody in the neighborhood to come out and enjoy some food and maybe a little social time, but not too close to each other,” neighborhood association vice president JR Neidlinger said.
Warren Miller, owner of the food truck, says he’s seen business increase since the pandemic and enjoys bringing the truck into the community outside of his catering business.
