Former Evansville Mayor Weinzapfel running for Indiana Attorney General

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Jonathan Weinzapfel is running for office once again in the Hoosier State. The former Evansville Mayor is running for Attorney General in 2020.

Weinzapfel made the announcement on Facebook Tuesday morning. State Senator Karen Tallian of Ogden Dunes announced her intention to run for Indiana Attorney General as a Democrat in August.

Current Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill has announced he will run for reelection In July, he announced his campaign raised more than $200,000 in two months.

John Westercamp has announced he will challenge Hill in the Republican Primary.
