OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — A former principal is being honored Thursday afternoon by a Daviess County school she led for more than two decades.

The front driveway of Highland Elementary school in Owensboro is being named ‘Anita Newman Way’ on Thursday afternoon, in honor of the school’s former principal.
