Two injured in wreck involving Gibson County deputy

Local News

GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Two people were injured in a wreck involving a Gibson County deputy Tuesday night. That’s according to Indiana State Police Sgt. Todd Ringle.

Ringle says the accident happened at 57 and about a half mile south of 250 South.

Ringle says the trooper was in one vehicle, and the other two were in a different vehicle.

The two people collided with the deputy’s vehicle when they pulled onto 57.

Ringle says the deputy was driving southbound with his emergency lights on.

We’re told all three people were taken to the hospital. Ringle says the deputy was just taken in for precautionary measures, and the two others were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
