HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Police have provided an update on the body found in Gibson County Tuesday afternoon.
Sgt. Todd Ringle released a statement via Facebook confirming that a female body was found in the wooded area behind the Diplomat Motel in Oakland City. Officials tell Eyewitness News that the FBI and Oakland City Police are assisting the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State police in the investigation.
Officials encourage anyone with information to contact police.
