FORT BRANCH, Ind. (WEHT)- Gibson Southern High School hosted training Wednesday for staff to render aid in the event of a school shooting.
The training was provided by Stop the Bleed, an organization developed by the White House following the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012. The training was run by the Gibson County Sheriff and a staff member from Gibson General Hospital.
With Wednesday’s training, every school in Gibson County has received training. The Gibson General Hospital Foundation provided every school in the county with a stop the bleed kit.
