Girl killed in Daviess Co. crash was Girl Scout

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Eyewitness News learned a girl killed in a crash in Daviess County, Indiana was also a Girl Scout.

Seven-year-old Isabella Pfingston died when a car she was in ran a stop sign and crashed at the intersection of State Road 58 and County Road 425 East last week.

Matthew Grimes, of Evansville, was driving the car.

He died from his injuries, along with his five-year-old daughter, Maddalyn, and Matthew’s girlfriend, Jessica Krohn.

There will be a joint funeral service for Jessica and Isabella Tuesday, July 2nd at Browning Funeral Home in Evansville.

Maddalyn’s service will be Monday in Linton, Indiana on what would have been her sixth birthday.
