God’s Garden in Downtown Newburgh Back Open

Local News

A popular spot for picture-taking in downtown Newburgh is hosting weddings again after being vandalized last year.

The spot is called God’s Garden.

Last year, vandals carved into furniture, broke table legs, and slashed cushions.

The owners closed the garden for a time, and Newburgh Police increased patrols in the area.

Chief Brett Sprinkle tells us God’s Garden is now back open.

According to Chief Sprinkle, there are no arrests or suspects from last year’s vandalism.

The chief says there have been no reports of vandalism since then.
