Gov. Pritzker appoints two from southern Illinois to serve on New Harmony Bridge Authority

(WEHT) – Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker appointed three people to serve on the New Harmony Bridge Authority.

Michael Egbert and Sara Brown from southern Illinois were appointed to serve on the board.

Egbert has served as treasurer of the White County Bridge Commission for the past 23 years.

Brown is a coffee shop owner from Carmi and is the manager of the Historic New Harmony program at the University of Southern Indiana.

President Donald Trump recently signed a law to transfer control of the bridge from the White County Bridge Commission to Indiana and Illinois.
