Ill. (WEHT) – Illinois’ nearly two million public and private school students will be staying home after Governor J.B. Pritzker ordered the closure of the state’s schools Friday in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The schools will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17th and will resume March 31st.
