Among the many areas affected by the severe weather the last few days is Oak Hill Cemetery.
There’s a group working on cleaning it up, but maybe not who you would expect.
A cemetery spokesman says members of the cleanup crew are doing work part of their court-ordered community service.
Cody Fussner says, “It’s pretty bad out here. There is a few big trees that are down that we can’t do anything with, but all these small limbs around the graves, we can pick up and put close to the road so that other crew can come by and put them through a wood chipper.”
Jason Warfield says, “Anything I can do for my community to help out, you know, helps me out as being a person. Anything I’m asked to do, I’ll basically do it to help my community.”
If you head over to the cemetery to pay your respects, you might want to pay these guys a little bit of respect as well.
