Halloween came early this weekend in Evansville.
First Presbyterian Church in downtown Evansville held Pumpkin-Fest to celebrate the holiday a little early.
The church holds the event every Sunday before Halloween.
Families and kids were able to trick or treat in the streets, carve a pumpkin, jump on inflatables, and enjoy Halloween candies and food.
Robert Nichols, with First Presbyterian church says,”I think it’s a great location we got this lovely Gothic building built in the 1870’s, it just looks really great, looks the part, and we enjoy putting this on for the community. “
Staff say they were happy with the turnout as there were more than a hundred people at the event.
