Now that fall is here, many summer events are wrapping up for the year; this includes the Newburgh Farmer’s Market.
The Harvest Festival and Free Family Movie Night marks the end of the market for the season.
Organizers moved the event indoors to Epworth United Methodist Church due to the rain.
But the showers didn’t put a damper on the live music, pumpkin painting and all the farmer’s market vendors.
“The response has been really great for the vendors,” said John Perkins, Historic Newburgh Inc. board member, “Everybody that’s came in so far has been excited. They’ve been running around to the different booths. We have children in Halloween costumes already so it’s been great.”
And what movie did they show for movie night? A Halloween classic, “Hocus Pocus.”
