LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WEHT) — A Hawesville man is facing several charges after crashing into an 18-year-old’s car during a police chase.

The teen died from her injuries.

Kentucky State Police say the chase happened last Friday in Anderson County, near Lexington.

KSP says 30-year-old David Henderson would not pull over for troopers, and led them on a high speed chase.

Henderson ended up crashing into a vehicle with three other people in it.

One of those people, 18-year-old Jill Hurst, died yesterday morning from her injuries.

Henderson is now in the Boyle County Jail facing several charges, including Reckless Driving and Assault.

There is no word if more charges will be added after Hurst’s death.
