Henderson is celebrating the grand opening of its first co-work space.
Henderson Entrepreneurial and Technology Lab, also known as Heat Lab, officially opened its doors in the Peabody building.
Heat Lab aims to strengthen the innovation culture and build networks for start-up opportunities.
It will provide high-speed internet, conference rooms, office equipment and more.
“The idea is to find those entrepreneurs that need space to work in, they’re just I don’t want to work in their homes and um, to help them with any kind of small business resources that are available, such as the business planning and that kind of thing.”
Iriti says small businesses are the lifeblood of a local economy, creating most new jobs.
The project aims to help startups be successful.
