Heavy trash pickup days scheduled for two areas on the west side of Evansville will be held several weeks earlier than usual. This is to avoid coinciding with the Fall Festival on W. Franklin St.
The first area will have heavy trash pickup on September 1, and second area will have heavy trash pickup on Wednesday, September 2.
Both areas are normally scheduled for heavy trash pickup during the first full week of October, which is the same week as the Fall Festival.
